Eve’s music tells of the demons in life’s dark corners and the search for beauty within their stories. Mississippi Delta Blues meld with the 1960’s folk revival and a Brothers Grimm sentiment, creating a steamy, Southern sound with charming twists of humor. Steady grooves balance the haunting vocals, creating a sound that is gritty and primal balanced with tranquil innocence She is most often compared to Kate Bush, Nick Cave, Joan Baez, and Rhiannon Giddens.
Eve performs solo and with a variety of other artists and projects including Knife Thrower’s Assistance, Eve and the Alligators, Anacoustic Mind and the Pete Lago Blues Trio. She has toured the US, Canada, Scotland, Germany, Spain, Portugal and the Basque Country, highlights of which include the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, opening for Jose Feliciano, and singing backup for Alan Merril, author of the legendary song “I Love Rock ’n’ Roll.”
